About Carmella

I am the oldest of 6 daughters so for as long as I can remember I have been leading and helping my sisters in their everyday lives. I've been babysitting regularly for about 5 years and I was a caregiver for my special needs uncle from 2019 until recently when he passed away. One thing you should know about me is I'm always open to new knowledge-based perspectives. One of my top 3 childcare skills includes communication. Effective communication is very important with children because it helps them build understanding and it helps them build better social skills to use everyday and also in the future. Another one of my childcare skills is decision making. This skill is crucial when working with children because it's important to be able to make appropriate decisions in emergencies and difficult situations. I also have very good organizational skills which are very helpful because children strive off of routine and when they have an organized schedule it makes everyday easier for them.
