Hi! My name is Carlya. I am 25 years old, and I have been around animals my whole life! I have an enormous passion and love for all animals and nature; I treat all animals like they're my children! I was raised with dogs, and grew up around cats, reptiles, and amphibians. I am from a woodsy area in South Jersey, so I grew up with forest animals like turkeys, foxes and deer. I volunteer at an equine therapy center, so I am extremely comfortable around horses and farm animals too! I'm not afraid to get my hands dirty, I'm used to doing barn chores like cleaning pastures and grooming horses. As a swim instructor, I have also rescued countless animals from pools, from little barn mice, to snakes, snapping turtles and iguanas. I hope I'm the right fit for you and your pet(s)!
