About Carly

I'm an imaginative, yet pragmatic and energetic person. I love dancing, arts and crafts, story telling and I enjoy spending time in the kitchen creating fun and kid friendly dishes! I have a bachelor's degree in agricultural science, so I am passionate about the environment and teaching children about where our food comes from. In addition to nannying in Philadelphia I have 3 years of experience assisting in a day care where I worked with children ages 3-7. This was a learning center where children came to practice reading, writing, and crafts as well as socialization skills and how to play with others. I have also assisted a childcare provider for 2 years with newborns-10yrs, where I helped with tasks such as cooking, cleaning, activities, and nap time. I have a pretty goofy personality, so I will always have fun ways to keep children entertained and happy! I genuinely love spending time with young people and admiring the lessons they teach me.
