About Carly

I'd describe my personality as positive, encouraging, & compassionate. I like tutoring because I'm passionate about helping all students, especially neurodiverse learners, build on their strengths, develop a growth mindset, take risks, & learn to love learning. I'm looking for a job that helps me connect with kids & utilize my strengths and passions as a mom & educator. I started tutoring when I was in high school & have been in education ever since. I have an English single subject credential as well as special education credential & a masters in teaching. I have taught 11th grade American Lit, 6th grade math/science, & have served as an Ed Specialist in a fully inclusive K-8 setting for 10+ years. One thing you should know about me is I'm looking for opportunities to continue to nurture, support, & educate students while balancing time with my son.
