I have taught English in Florence, Italy and Liberec, Czech Republic. I am also a certified yoga instructor for children and adults. We hired Carlie to help prepare our daughter for the Secondary School Admission Test (SSAT) to complete application for independent school admission. Carlie quickly came up to speed with the requirements of the test and was instrumental in coaching my daughter on testing strategies as well as doing detail revisions on the various topics at hand - in English and Math. Carlie has the skills and ability to get a kid focused and brings a great listening mindset. The positives around Carlie goes way beyond her teaching/coaching skills, it includes her positive attitude and ability to bring out the best in a kid. We truly appreciated Carlie's time with us and will happily have her as a tutor again. I highly recommend her for a similar role as well as teacher given her attention to detail and dedication.
