About Carlene

Hello, my name is Carlene & I have 9 years experience nannying children ages 3 months- 6 years old. I love being a part of little ones life; to positively influence and bring joy to their lives. As a musician, nature lover, certified Holistic Health Coach, and yogi, I bring fun and creativity each day. With toddlers, I encourage movement activities and nature exploration, and use skills I learned as a piano/voice teacher to work through conflict in a calm and respectful manner. With babies, I enjoy talking and reading to them a lot to encourage speech early on and help them as they develop their kinetic and social awareness. I believe fresh air and observing other people/places is so important to children's growth and helps to calm the nervous system. I am very comfortable with diaper changes, potty training, developmental milestones, feeding, bottles, and CPR/first aid. Your child will always be my top priority on the job.
