About Carleigh

Hi, I am Carleigh and a am going to be a sophomore at Arizona State University next year! I am studying civil engineering with a focus in sustainable engineering and I am really enjoying it! The past two years, I was a lifeguard and swim instructor at Lifetime fitness. As a swim instructor, I would teach kids from one to 13 years old how to swim. Everyday I would create lessons that included fun games to help them improve their skills. I enjoyed watching my students improve and get so excited when they moved up to another level. As a college student, I have learned how to be dependable, punctual, and manage my time wisely. In high school, I would tutor students in high school and middle school German every Friday. As an engineer, I am able to adapt to new situations and create new ways to learn. I also enjoy playing soccer and hiking in my free time.
