About Carlee

Hi, I'm Carlee. As an Occupational Therapist, I work with students to increase handwriting skills. Handwriting is linked to increased reading literacy and fluency. In today's world with increased technology, handwriting is becoming obsolete. It is important to keep handwriting fluency at the forefront of our minds as it is connected to increased memory, attention, executive functioning skills, reading skills, and so much more! I work on letter identification, letter formation, letter reversals, letter size, increasing hand strength, pencil grip, sensory related concerns, letter spacing, word spacing, and more! Please reach out for any concerns and as an OT I can provide extra practice outside of school, as well as provide school-based OT services. I am passionate about child development and school-based Occupational Therapy. I see students in my home. Parents are able to join sessions to learn more about interventions.
