Hello, My name is Carla , and I have lived in the Las Vegas area for the last 20 years. I have four full grown children of my own; one of which is a type 1 Diabetic, and my oldest daughter has been special needs her entire life. I have always had a passion for being very "hands on" not only in my children's lives growing up, but as a caregiver as well. I have been a nanny to three different families over the last 10+ years, sadly the saying is true "they grow up so fast!" I am experienced in caregiving children from newborns to teenagers, and I have full knowledge and capability with food allergies and illnesses that need special attention. Arts and crafts are a weekly goal, as I like to keep growing minds busy and learning while having fun. I enjoy cooking and believe that homemade and nutritional food is a priority. I am a Christian as well as a non smoker or drinker. I have my own transportation, and am available days/nights and overnights as well as the weekends.

Carla has been our nanny for more than 3 years, but now that our son is going to school full time starting this fall, our needs are changing. Carla has been an absolute delight. It is rare to find a nanny who is so accomplished both professionally (former General Manager of one of the world's largest Walgreen's) and separately as a nanny (has raised 3 kids and has been a full time nanny for more than 6 years). Additionally, Carla's first (and only) language is English which is also rare in the nanny-world these days, so our son's vocabulary is well above average. Carla is very loving and thoughtful and raised our son as her own from the time he was just an infant until he was almost 4 years old. We will certainly miss Carla!
