About Carla

I began working in health care in 1995. I've worked in every facility and all age ranges from infant, teens with disabilities such as down syndrome. I have two nieces with Downs. I have also worked in home health, assisted living and at a neuro hospital in the Asheville area. I have cared fo3 residents with Alzheimer's to severe mental and physical disabilities. Taking care of others has always been a passion I've carried with me. I am a mother of 6 and grandmother of a 1-year-old grandson. I have family members I've taken care of with Alzheimer's, diabetic needs, CP, autism, ADD and ADHD. my daughter has TBI, PTSD and Epilepsy, so I am very well versed in how to take care of someone with a broad spectrum of limitations. It is rewarding to be able to bring some light and love into others lives. Very patient and upbeat and not afraid to jump in where needed to help and make whom ever I'm caring for feel comfortable, truly cared about and respected.
