About Carla

I have experience tutoring subjects like Math, Science, and Social Studies for two years. I served as a Teacher for two years at Stratford Elementary, as well as Prekindergarten students at Kiddie Academy of Almaden Valley. I am very flexible in working with different teaching styles from being active both physically and verbally so that students are eagerly engaged in the activities and subject matter being presented. By practicing positive reinforcement, students of mine feel comfortable communicating their needs to me as well as taking suggestions in a good manner. I am familiar with creating lesson plans based on student needs and communicating with parents on where their child is academically and socially. With my enthusiastic attitude, I aim to motivate students to succeed in their education while having a fun and exciting time doing it!
