About Carla

I have worked in a home-based childcare facility (Licensed) for 2 1/2 years with children ranging from 3 months to 5 years. I have taken child development classes and worked with special needs children. With The facility I currently work at we are currently working to get head start accredited through NAFCC. I'm very well trained in teaching young children to help transition them from pre k to kindergarten. I love my job very much and I absolutely love working with small children. I have been trained in the nutritional guidelines and the steps of safety within small children and healthy ways to keep from the children and myself from becoming sick or ill. I also have 3 children of my own (twins, 17, and a 7-year-old little boy). My twins will be seniors this fall and my 7-year-old will be in the 3rd grade. My husband and I have been married for 18 years. I truly believe my calling in life is to teach young babies and toddlers grow and thrive into school-age children.
