About Carla

I'd describe my personality as charismatic, loyal, and extroverted. I like working with kids because they keep me on my toes as well as test my patience skills to overall improve on my day to day life interacting with other people. I'm looking for a job that is flexible and has room for growth opportunities. I started working with kids when I was about 13 when my little sister came of age to finally stop needing my parents around full time. I also babysat my family friend's newborn until he was around a year and a half old when I was 16. In my spare time, I like to play soccer, go on hikes, read, do art, as well as cook and hang out with friends and family. I also like to participate in extracurricular activities in school. One thing you should know about me is I am CPR certified in both children and adults. I also was trained on how to do the Heimlich maneuver. My skills include communication skills, decision making skills, and I am patient.
