About Carla

Hello! my name is Carla and babysitting/ nannying have been a part of my life since I was 14. I have a degree in Social Work with a minor in Early Childhood Development. My approach when working with children is to provide a safe container for exploration, growth, and safe failing by being a consistent and dependable figure in their lives. Through my work experiences I have learned the importance of attunement and fostering emotional intelligence and communication in all relationships. I have worked with children in many different capacities, some of those being ABA with children on the spectrum and developmental delays, Daycare Teacher, Wilderness Therapy Field Guide, and currently an Outdoor Education Instructor. Can provide a fun learning environment with little or no screen time. I have experience and am comfortable with providing care for sick children and administering medication.
