About Carissa

I'd describe my personality as reliable, caring and creative. I am a pediatric nurse by trade. I'm taking some time away from nursing for a better work-life balance. I like working with kids because each one is unique. I love discovering their personality and helping them discover the world around them. I'm looking for a job that I can do on the weekends or while my 4-year-old daughter is in preschool. I started working with kids when I was in college. I've worked with all ages for many different families. In my spare time, I like to do art and go on daytrips with my family to the beach. One thing you should know about me is I'm flexible with my schedule. My skills include first aid/CPR certification, time/schedule management, bottle/food preparation. I have experience with nasogastric tubes and gastrointestinal tubes.
