About Carissa

Hello! My name is Carissa, and I am looking for a part-time childcare position in the Aubrey/Little Elm area. I recently became a new mom in May 2023 to a beautiful boy named J. I'm looking for families who would be interested in giving their son or daughter a playmate, as I would like to bring him along. I would care for your child with the same care I give my own, and I believe they both would benefit from interaction with a peer. Besides being a mother myself, I am licensed in Elementary Education K-6 and taught Preschool and ESL in public education settings until the summer of 2020 when I became a professional nanny. I have cared for 3 newborns and 3 toddlers (12mo-3 yrs) in the last 2 years. I've also been a nanny/PCA for a family of 8 all under the age of 13 (3 of them qualified for Special Education services), have cared for my own nieces and nephews, and have volunteered as a Sunday school teacher for 14 years. I am eager to meet you and your family!
