About Carissa

I have been an aunt since 2013 to my five nieces and nephews, making caring for children a meaningful part of my life for over a decade. I enjoy encouraging children's curiosity, building their confidence, and creating a safe, supportive environment where they feel cared for. I believe children learn through both guidance and the example we set through our actions, kindness, and communication. My experience mentoring youth has helped me build trust, adapt to individual needs, and create engaging activities that support growth and learning. As a Wilderness First Responder, I prioritize safety and remain calm in unexpected situations. In my spare time, I enjoy whitewater kayaking, paddleboarding, rock climbing, backpacking, and environmental conservation projects. I love sharing my passion for the outdoors and helping children explore, learn, and develop confidence. My goal as a nanny is to provide dependable, compassionate care while becoming a trusted support for the entire family.
