About Carissa

Hi, My name is Carissa! I enjoy crafting, taking care of my small farm, being outdoors, and finding ways to disconnect from technology. I have a degree in Developmental Psychology and Social Work. I have 20 plus years experience working in childcare and as a private nanny, recently completing a 5 year contract with a family, as the children are now in school age years. Two years were spent as a social worker serving adults with developmental and intellectual disabilities. Where I also served as the certifying CPR/first aid instructor for infants, children and adults. Ensuring the homes in the agency maintained all health and safety standards. While I was in the military assisted dual military families with child care as per their child care plan. I am looking forward to meeting and working with your family.
