About Carise

Since I was young, I have always had a special connection with children. Caring for them, guiding them, and creating safe spaces for them has always come naturally. One of the biggest influences in my decision to work with children and eventually work in Early Childhood Education has been my nephew, who was born with spina bifida and later diagnosed with ADHD. Watching him grow through challenges taught me the importance of patience, compassion, and encouragement as a support. His journey opened my eyes to the different ways children learn and interact with the world. Through my experience working in an afterschool program and as a nanny for two years, I have developed responsibility, patience, communication skills, and the ability to build trust with children and families. These experiences confirmed my passion for working with children and my desire to positively impact them academically, emotionally, and socially.
