About Caridad

Cathy (Caridad) cared for my grandparents during one of the most challenging seasons of their lives, and I truly don’t know what we would have done without her. My grandfather was living with dementia, and my grandmother had significant physical limitations, yet Cathy supported them both with patience, compassion, and professionalism every single day. She was dependable beyond words — always there when she said she would be, and often there even when we didn’t expect her to be, simply because she cared. She handled everything you can imagine: preparing meals, helping with mobility, assisting with bathing and dressing, keeping medications organized, and making sure the house stayed tidy and safe. But the things that meant the most weren’t the tasks — it was the way she treated my grandparents with dignity, respect, and genuine kindness. Cathy had a way of soothing my grandfather during moments of confusion and bringing out the parts of him we were afraid dementia had taken. She made my grandmother laugh again, helped her feel comfortable in her own home, and gave my family peace of mind knowing they were always in good hands. She didn’t just show up — she showed heart. Sadly, my grandfather has since passed, and my grandmother had to transition into long-term care. But Cathy’s impact on our family is lasting. She was a blessing during a very difficult time, and we are forever grateful for the love and support she gave them. If you are looking for someone who is trustworthy, skilled, and truly cares about the people she serves, I cannot recommend Cathy enough. She became more than a caregiver — she became part of our family.
