About Carey

As a first time Mom, relinquishing the care of my newborn child was the scariest thing I could have imagined. After interviewing 10+ nannies, I found Carey on Care.com. As a career nanny, she had the perfect amount of experience, maturity, knowledge and professionalism that I was looking for. But most importantly, she had SO much love and attention to give to my daughter (and 2 large-breed dogs). She was responsible for not only the full-time care of my then newborn and now toddler but also light housekeeping (mostly related to the child and dogs). She always followed my directions and my preferred schedule yet was not afraid to offer advice, which I welcomed, as she had relevant experience to share. She is knowledgeable of the newborn to toddler gross and motor milestones and focused on keeping my daughter on track developmentally. She is an open-communicator who takes feedback well. I cannot recommend Carey enough as a skilled, caring and loving nanny!
