About Carah

Hi, my name is Carah! I have been working as a caregiver at an assisted living community for 9 months. I am trained in CPR, the Heimlich and first aid. I have about 5 years of experience caring for children; I was an assistant teacher at a daycare for about 6 months (then filled in at the daycare over the summers), and have been babysitting for a while. I am able to assist with bathing, changing clothes, wound care and daily activities. I have experience caring for elders with dementia and know how to manage behaviors and help them feel safe. I'm comfortable preparing and cooking meals, helping with housework and providing transportation if needed. Singing, playing guitar, drawing, painting, and writing are some of my passions! I love to create activities tailored to the person I am caring for. I can also be a shoulder to cry on! I am available from 3 p.m. to 11 p.m. on weekdays, and 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturdays (I do not work on Sundays). I'm looking forward to meeting your loved one
