Hi, I am a very young and fit 66-year-old who LOVES kids but is going to have to wait a while for grandchildren to enjoy (my daughter is in second year of her Ph. D.). REcently retired from a long career at the Dept. Of State. Lots of experience ; ) raising my daughter mostly as a single mum, also babysitting as a teenager and young adult. Mature, responsible, thoughtful, fun. Competitive swimmer (retired) comfy around kids and a pool. Have a cat or two, love dogs, step mom to geckos and turtles and the usual assortment of other childhood pets. Please note I now Live in Hawaii but for some reason part of my profile is not updating to reflect that I am no longer in Northern Virginia area.

We loved having Candy take care of our daughter. She was attentive, responded quickly, very present with our daughter. She spoke french to our daughter which is a must for us. My father was home while Candy watched our daughter and he said she didn't cry once. We'd love to hire Candy again.
