About Candra

I started working as a CNA a few years ago when my grandfather got sick. He needed around the clock care that he couldn't afford, so I went to school and got my certification to help take care of him. When he passed away a year later, I started working in a nursing home and fell in love with the job. It's hard work, but so fulfilling and rewarding. I worked in an Assisted Living department for six months, then they transferred me to the Memory Care unit and I worked with individuals who had dementia and other special needs. At this time I was also sent back to school by my employer to earn my CMA so I could pass medication to the people we serve. I worked at this nursing home for two years before I moved away to be closer to family which brings me here to Sedalia, MO.
