About Candace

I have 5 years experience as an infant/toddler/preschool teacher and 10 years experience training childcare providers. I also have experience tutoring and caring for children with special needs. I can help with meal prep, and I plan fun developmentally-appropriate activities. My AS is in Child Development and my Masters degree is in Early Childhood Education. I taught Child Development coursework at the community college level for several years. My focus is always on building relationships with parents and children because strong relationships build resilience and promote positive behavior. I believe it's important to get to know each child as an individual in order to best meet their needs. I don't smoke or drink, I have a car, and I love pets.
