About Candace

Daily Routine & Care • Manage a consistent daily schedule, including morning/afternoon naps and free time. • Assist with diaper changes, hygiene routines, hand-washing, and early potty training readiness (if parents desire). • Prepare and feed nutritious, age-appropriate meals and snacks, cleaning up kitchen areas directly tied to the child. • Manage child-related laundry (washing, folding, and putting away toddler clothes). Development & Activities • Plan and lead age-appropriate, interactive activities like crafts, sensory play, music, and storytime. • Ensure plenty of active, outdoor play every day (walks, parks, backyard exploration) to match a 2-year-old's high energy. • Encourage language development, curiosity, and growing independence (e. g., helping put toys in a bin). • Arrange local outings or playdates as approved by parents. Safety & Environment • Maintain a safe, childproofed environment at all times. • Keep the play area, toy bins, and child's bedroom tidy.
