I have 2 years of paid childcare experience and also spent lots of time caring for my younger siblings. I have a background in caring for kids all from infants to teenagers. I am willing to do anything from part time, full time or even just one shift. I absolutely love working with kids not only to have lots of fun together but also to help them grow. Cameron had a great interview and a great half-day with me and our baby. We decided to move forward together the following day. Cameron no-call no-showed for her morning start-time and was unreachable. At 2pm, following several attempts to reach her, Cameron texted us and stated she was feeling unwell and had been to the doctor who diagnosed her with strep. Illness is unavoidable. However, the choice not to at least send a text letting us know she could not come in as scheduled indicates extremely poor judgement, complete lack of professionalism, and total disrespect for the employment relationship. Very disappointing.
