About Cambria

Hi there! My name is Cambria and I am a cat-parent, scientist, artist and lover of the natural world! I was educated at UC San Diego with a degree in Biology (Ecology, Behavior & Evolution) and Environmental Studies. I am neurodivergent and I work very well with students who experience learning difficulties due to ADHD/ADD or Autism. My special interest is fungi! I am very patient, empathetic and I truly believe in and care for every student I have the opportunity to work with. I am well versed in teaching many subjects, (my favorites are Math, Art, and Science) and I focus on confidence building, organization and gentle communication. I also am available as a babysitter! I grew up in a blended family and I have 5 younger siblings (Im the oldest!). I have experience caring for children of all ages and could also incorporate dedicated homework time if needed, along with lots of play time! I have a passion for cooking and would love to cook for kiddos too!!
