About Calyx

Hi! I'm Calyx, a longtime youth sports coach and program director with over 10 years of experience working with kids ages 18 months through 12 years. I currently run a youth soccer program in Utah and previously spent a decade as Director of Coaching & Operations at a multi-site sports facility in Redmond, WA, managing programs for hundreds of kids a week. That experience has made me patient, safety-minded, and genuinely good at keeping kids engaged, whether that means structured games and activities or just being a calm, reliable presence during everyday routines like meals, homework, and bedtime. I'm reliable, communicative with parents, and comfortable managing everything from toddlers to pre-teens, including redirecting energy, handling meltdowns, and sticking to whatever schedule or routine you've set. I'm happy to bring light coaching or activities into the mix if you'd like, or simply focus on dependable, attentive care.
