About Calyn

I'd describe my personality as engaging, patient, and caring . I love working with either students or seniors who need that extra something special in their lives. Tutoring is so much fun, and so is assisting seniors. I have years of experience doing both. This is why I would like a job in either tutoring or senior care as I have experience in all fields. I'm looking for a job with either a student (I am k-6 Gen Ed, Reading, and ESE k-12 certified), or senior. I also spent years helping my parents battle cancer; bathing, cleaning, administering medications, and offering emotional support. I started tutoring when I was 15 years old helping students with behavioral disorders. I was the sole caregiver for both of my parents while they were battling cancer. In my spare time I like to run, read, go camping, and take my dogs for walks. I enjoy good conversations with kids and seniors alike. Both have so much wisdom to offer and I love learning about anything and everything.
