About Calista

I'd describe myself as responsible, conscientious, and outgoing. I like working with kids because I care about providing them with memories that will last them their entire lives. I still can remember my favorite babysitter's, and the memories I made with them. As a nervous child who was scared to be away from my parents, having someone who I felt safe, comfortable, and happy to see stay with me while my parents were gone meant the world to me, and I want to provide that for children. In my spare time, I like to read. I have been a voracious reader since I was little, and this love of reading and literature, as well as working with kids, has led me to pursue the career path of being a middle school English teacher. I also enjoy spending time with my friends and family, exploring new places, and baking. My skills include being quick on my feet, excelling in problem solving, and having patience.
