I'm a professor at San Diego State University in Rhetoric and Writing and American Indian Studies. I teach in the fall and spring, but my schedule is light and varies; some semesters I only teach a few days a week or a few hours a day. I am out of work in the summers and need extra income, but ideally I'd like to meet a family who I can work with long term and who can benefit from my unusual schedule. I was an au pair for a family of six in Germany, and I started babysitting as a teenager and have done it on and off since.
