About Caitlin

Hi! I spent the past five summers nannying part-time for a family with boy/girl twins. They were 6 turning 7 in July when I started and this past summer they turned 11. I love nannying/ babysitting because it brings me such joy to come up with fun activities and take part in them with the kids. My babysitting style is "all in"- no screens (unless we are researching a craft, filming a funny video etc.). I don't just supervise; I take part in the activities and have a lot of fun doing so! That being said, safety is very important to me and I enforce rules (according to the parents' rules) such as wearing a bike helmet. I also have experience working with kids in my current job at a historical landmark and nature center in which many school groups come for field trips and I get the opportunity to teach them about different topics through lessons and hands-on activities. In addition, I worked as a camp counselor this past summer for both boys and girls ages 8-12.
