About Caitlin

I am a stay-at-home mom to a 13-month-old girl. I am looking for a family that would like to drop off their child for care a few times a week. I live in Virginia Highlands. I would take our babies to the park, library, Fernbank, etc. I began working with children when I was still a child myself. I started my own day camp in my neighborhood when I was in sixth grade. We had about 15 elementary school-aged kids show up for a week of summer camp! I was then a camp counselor at more notable camps such as those run by the Girl Scouts (two years) and the YMCA (three years). I was a nanny over various summers in high school and I've babysat for countless families. In my 20s, I was a "Big Sister" to an 11-year-old boy and a 12-year-old girl. I have coached youth 14 Club volleyball teams. My style is encouraging, playful, disciplined, and fun. I highly encourage independence and positive mental development.
