About Caitlin

Hello! I am a certified teacher interested in offering tutoring services! I became an English teacher simply from my joy of reading and learning and have expanded my skill set from there. I have experience working with multilingual learners, special education students, and advanced students- all of which have been in grades 6th through 12th. I have a master's degree in curriculum and instruction, specifically focusing on language, literacy, and culture. In order to better help your student, I focus on learning their educational needs, their pace at learning, where they soar in learning and where any barriers may be. From there, I will craft an educational plan centered around assignments given by classroom teachers as well as activities that will help strengthen their learning in the ELA content area.
