About Caitlin

I'd describe my personality as silly, playful, reliable. I like working with kids because it makes me happy. Kids make me laugh all the time, and I genuinely enjoy watching them learn and grow. Something families should know about me is that I am wilderness first responder (WFR) certified. I'm looking for a job with a child or group of kiddos that like to be active and have fun. I got my first babysitting job when I was in 8th grade. In college, I began working as a camp counselor during the summer months, and I continued this work after becoming a teacher. I have been an educator for more than 10 years. I have taught all subjects to students in grades Pre-K-12th grade. Last year, I took a short break from teaching and nannied a 2. 5-year-old boy. In my spare time, I like to read, write, craft, and spend time outside. I am an avid mountain biker and I enjoy hiking and backpacking. My skills include relationship building, patience, and communication.
