Ceramic artist, science nerd, Masters in education student! I'm studying to become a high school science teacher, and work for Chicago Public Schools in a substitute/teacher support role. I have taken a year-long Orton Gillingham Dyslexia training course, so literacy is my specialty. I'm looking for opportunities to supplement my income while paying for graduate school :-) I love being outside, going for walks, and reading sci-fi novels. I'd describe my personality as playful, inquisitive, talkative. I like tutoring because I love seeing that light bulb go off! I'm looking for a job that is respectful, communicative, and fun. I started tutoring when I was in high school- I was a teachers assistant and tutor for a Chinese language class. In college I tutored international students in a boarding school on my university's campus- and now I work for Chicago Public Schools! In my spare time, I like to do ceramics, swim, & take walks to Montrose beach!
