About Cadence

I'd describe my personality as adventurous, independent, and kind. I like working with kids because they are enthusiastic, caring, and sometimes brutally honest which is a trait I really appreciate. I have worked with kids for as long as I can remember. I'm the oldest of three. My parents worked often so it was up to me to take care of my siblings as well as clean up the house starting at a young age. I babysat all through high school and took a course where I actually went to an elementary class everyday and worked with kids in the 2nd grade. In my spare time, I like to hike, play outside, walk my dog, as well as camping, fishing, backpacking in the summer time. I also enjoy a good book. One thing you should know about me is I can be overly independent and have a hard time asking for help. This in turn has made me a great problem solver. My skills include cooking, cleaning, and having fun!
