About Brooklyn

Hi there, my name is Brooklyn! I am a 21-year-old university student studying linguistics and psychology at UCSD, but absolutely love child care and have been nannying and babysitting for 8 years. I really love all age groups and I have experience with children of all ages. I have worked as a nanny for 3 families, one for 5 years, one ongoing for 2 years, and the other for 6 months. I'm CPR certified, have my own car, and have taken multiple college and online courses in child psychology and development. I am fluent in English and conversational in French. My focus is on giving your child a safe, routine-focused, and creative space to learn and grow into a wonderful person. I love doing seasonal crafts, baking, pretend play, and encouraging independent time. I'm firm but kind, and will work with you on any challenges your child may come to. In my personal time I love to cook fancy meals and do ballet. I love to sing and travel! I look forward to meeting you.
