About Brooke

Hi Families! My name is Brooke. I'd describe my personality as bubbly, patient and approachable. I like working with kids because I get to make a positive impact on them! I'm looking for a job that works with my substitute teaching schedule, which is typically a few days a week from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. This means I would need a job that is night shifts on weekdays (and I can work both morning & night on the weekends). I have both my Bachelor's and Master's degrees from San Diego State University. My Bachelor's degree is in Liberal Studies and my Master's degree is in Language Arts Education. I started working with kids when I was a teenager at 15 years old, when I would babysit for my neighbors. Since then I have also done student teaching in a 3rd grade classroom and substitute teaching from Transitional Kindergarten (TK) - 8th grade. In my spare time, I like to spend time with my friends, go to the beach, read books and go to concerts!
