About Brooke

I like working with kids because I admire their curiosity and fun nature. I love their playfulness and I hope to create a positive environment for them. I am the oldest of 3 daughters so I always used to watch my sisters after school. I also am the oldest cousin so I've always had many kids in my life and I still occasionally babysit my 6&8-year-old cousins who I've been looking after for years. I also took child development 1, 2 and 3 where we taught/ looked after the children who attended the preschool there. One thing you should know about me is I had cancer and finished chemo only about 9 months ago. This will in no way affect my abilities when it comes to babysitting except for the occasional doctors appointment. My skills include being patient and kind to children at all times but especially when they are upset or misbehaving. I love to play with them, read with them or do any activities. I also have a 2019 Subaru outback that has plenty of room for car seats if needed.
