Hello! My name is Brooke, I am 21 years old and am currently a student at the University of Hawaii as an Elementary Education major. I have three semesters left in my degree and have taken coursework teaching me how to effectively teach children mathematics, ELA, science, history, and art. I have experience working with children from 3-11 years old. I have worked as a teacher's assistant in a preschool and 1st-grade classroom, have taught in a 4th-grade classroom for my coursework, and am substitute certified to work in Hawaii DOE Public Schools. I speak English and have taken 4 years of Spanish. I am CPR and Lifeguard certified by the Red Cross, a non-smoker, pet-friendly, and am fully vaccinated. I love working with children and have a passion for teaching and tutoring my students. I'd be happy to provide a reference as well as meet or talk on the phone!
