Please contact me for a complete resume. Growing up, I was the ultimate babysitter and made a pretty good living at it from the time I was 8 (yes, 8!) years old. I had the greatest compliment from a 4-year-old boy. After the 1st hour of using play-doh to make cars and beards, he very seriously asked, " so, do you like babysitting?" and I said, " What do you think?" Smiling, he replied, " Yes!" Some time ago, I cared for a 9-month-old baby girl. She had two surgeries and little physical interaction. Unable to turn over, sit up and lacking expression, I was blessed to care for her 40 to 50 hours a week and she went from 0-60, becoming a highlight of my life. Sadly they moved away but her mom told me their pediatrician said her verbal skills were that of a 4-year-old at her 2-year checkup!!! Until recently, my life had been filled with the joy and laughter of a precious little girl with special needs. She's been apart of me for 7 yrs.
