About Bronwyn

Hello! My name is Bronwyn and I have been working with children for over 10 years. My experience ranges from babysitting as a teen to, more recently, assistant teaching in a Montessori classroom. I received my bachelor of arts in music history from the University of Connecticut in May 2020. During my time at UConn, I taught puppet-building workshop for visiting school groups as a workshop leader for the Ballard Institute and Museum of Puppetry. Following graduation, I trained in Suzuki String methodology and worked as a cello teacher until moving to Texas. My students ranged in age, the youngest being 4-years-old. I always strove to create a welcoming and safe learning environment for my students. My aim was to build self-confidence and resilience through musicianship. Currently, I am looking for work as a babysitter and/or nanny as I work towards completing training as a birth doula.
