About Brittney

I've been a caregiver for most of my life, caring for both my Aunt and my Grandmother up until their recent passings. During this time I've becoming acquainted with the need to provide not just the basics, but really be a friend to those who are aging. I enjoy conversation and can listen for hours on end, even if it's the same story on repeat. Music is something that's bonded me with my older friends, a love for classic movies and games shows make me fit right in with most up in age. I like to keep those in my care as mobile as their circumstances allows. Engaging in light exercise, time outdoors if possible, and when indoors doing puzzles and just being a great companion. My experience ranges from simply being a companion when individuals are most independent, to more intensive care to those with progressive health issues (Alzheimer's, dementia, Parkinson's). I'm use to providing meals, maintaining a careful watch, and helping to manage a routine.
