About Britt

I graduated from UNM with a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education in 2001. My teaching emphasis was in the area of bilingual education and ESL. I completed my student teaching in a dual-language 4th grade and then went on to teach 5th grade. In 2003 I moved from Albuquerque to Santa Fe to work for a childcare referral service connecting local families with both long-term nannies and short-term babysitters. My assignments ranged from "pick-up" babysitting jobs (such as occasional date nights or mother's helper afternoons on as as-need basis) to several long-term nanny placements. My experience ranges from working with newborns and infants, through toddlers and pre-schooler, up to school-age kiddos. I have cared for more than one set of twins starting at 2 months of age and continuing up through 18 months.
