About Brittany

Hey! My name is Brittany and I have a degree in environmental studies with a concentration in education from Northeastern Illinois University. I have a background developing and leading nature-based programming through growing food, florals, and river education in the Chicagoland with youth and community-building. I love working with young people on various projects and helping them foster imagination while giving them the direct care and support they need! I work well with neurodivergent youth and believe in trauma-informed care. I think accountability and support are important in caring for people while creating space for them to be heard. I recently left the nonprofit sector to create more space for welding/fabrication and mixed media art so I am hoping to keep working with youth through babysitting and nannying as it has been an important and fulfilling part of my life.
