Hi there! I am currently seeking a full time position, ideally this would be for a family who is looking for a certified teacher to guide and supplement schooling for the year. I am a certified k-6 teacher and come with excellent recommendations from my professional experience in the classroom. In the past I have also nannied, tutored, and babysat. I am creative, energetic, and truly just love building relationships with children and families. I also love being outdoors, cooking, reading, and spending time with family.

When we lived in Central New York, Brittany was our primary babysitter for several years. Her experience at her own home with younger siblings gave her an edge over other sitters who never knew the importance of combining great childcare with general household tasks. Even as a teenager, she could (and would) cook meals for the kids, take care of the kitchen afterwards, and help teach the kids the importance of cleaning up after playtime and projects. My kids adored her, and never complained when they knew we were leaving them in her care. They loved seeing her in various settings, and would run into her arms anytime they saw her. She became a part of our family, and I would trust her today with any mix of children of any age. Brittany loves children, is responsible, reliable, fun and witty. She is naturally able to relate to the kids, and likewise, is quite comfortable conversing with the grownups. She strikes a balance that is refreshing and rare.
