I'm 28 years old and currently working with adults with special needs. I love working with adults- they have so much to teach us, even when they're not intending to. The biggest lesson I've learned from my work is humanity. I've seen people be diagnosed with alzheimers/dementia and decline over months - it's so heartbreaking to see people age, but I genuinely enjoy being a little piece of stability they can count on. I'm currently pursuing my Masters in Social Work, to work with adults with special needs. I'm CPR and first aid certified, MAP certified, I have my license, own vehicle, and clean driving record.
