For 3+ years I cared for a senior with Parkinson's disease. In that time, I helped him complete his book of memoirs, took him to appointments, administered his medications, took him on lunch dates and helped with crafting things in his home. He was not the first senior I cared for but he was the first I worked with in a home environment. For that reason, he is the most memorable, we developed a very close relationship. I enjoy seniors because of their life experiences and their willingness to share their different life stories. Even the little silly ones. I believe our seniors are the most precious people, who deserve the most precious care and respect. I believe this is best given in their home.
